PT Bumi ResourceS Tbk (IDX: BUMI), through its subsidiary PT Kaltim Prima Coal (KPC) donates IDR50 billion for Covid-19 pandemic relief in Indonesia. The donation is given through the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN), based on the document reported by the Company to the authority (6 August 2021).

The Company says that the donation becomes its commitment to help Indonesia recover from the Covid-19 pandemic such as the procurement of oxygen cylinders, medicines, vitamins, and other social assistance, as well as the provision of cryogenic ISO tanks and oxygen transport trucks. Adika Nuraga Bakrie - Deputy President Director of BUMI said, "The Company hopes that with the aid from KPC, can assist the Government in efforts to prepare health facilities and equipment in Indonesia, create herd immunity, increase the productivity and help accelerate the national economic recovery."
The document also reports that BUMI and its subsidiary have taken several strategic steps to minimize the spread of Covid-19 since the beginning of the pandemic, one of which is vaccinating BUMI and business unit employees, in addition to implementing strict health protocols within the Company. BUMI Group fully supports the handling of Covid-19 program carried out by KADIN to help create herd immunity and help accelerate the national economic recovery.
